To specify which columns and calculated fields are exposed to users of the Domain, you move resources from the Resources panel to the Sets and Items panel:

All items in a set correspond to columns in a join tree. Sets and items appear to report creators who use the Domain. Sets are optional. You can create a list of items outside of any sets. If you want to display only a few of the columns from the join tree, first create a new set in the Sets and Items panel. Next, add items from the join tree in the Resources panel.
To move a resource to the Sets and Items panel, you can drag it from the Resources panel and drop it in the Sets and Items panel, or you can use one of the following buttons:

Add to Sets | Select a resource in the Resources panel and click this icon to add it to the Sets and Items panel. Tables are added as sets, and columns are added as items outside of any set. | |
Add to Selected Sets | Select a destination set in the Sets and Items panel, then select a resource in the Resources panel and click this icon. Tables are added to the Sets and Items panel as subsets, and columns are added as items within the destination set. You can also expand sets in the Sets and Items panel and drag tables and columns from the Resources panel to the destination set. |
