Connecting to Zoola

 

The improved user enablement features in Zoola™ allow you to create user profiles for your users directly in Moodle/Totara, complete with access roles and permissions.


In addition to the administrator account, you will likely need to create additional user profiles in Zoola™ that span a range of permissions and functions. Various trainers, supervisors, instructors, and students will all have different access needs, and administrators will have specific security concerns in granting access.

For example, an administrator might need to create a profile for an instructor to view and create reports on their courses, while another profile made for a supervisor may just need to be able to view the reports made by the instructor.

The following two sections cover the fundamental steps necessary to create customized Zoola™ users, as well as a case study for creating a customized view for a manager profile:
